At Urban Abundance, we’re in the business of building something bigger than backyards.
We’re growing a local food movement — one garden, one household, one neighbor at a time. And now, with the launch of our Referral Program, we’re inviting you to help shape the next chapter of that movement.
This isn’t just about discounts. It’s about community-powered sustainability, shared abundance, and yes — maybe even starting a local produce exchange. (Seriously, how cool would that be?)
💡 Why We Built This Program
When we started Urban Abundance, we imagined a future where lush, productive gardens weren’t the exception — they were the norm. Where every neighborhood had a little more green, a little less waste, and a whole lot of fresh, local food.
We knew we couldn’t do it alone.
“Our vision has always been about more than just gardens — it’s about growing a movement,” says Urban Abundance CEO Ryan Boylston.
“This referral program is one small way we can reward our members for helping expand that vision.”
The truth is, most of our growth has come from word-of-mouth. People see their neighbor’s thriving garden, taste a tomato that actually tastes like something, and think, I want that.
So we built a system to say “thank you” — while planting seeds for something even greater.
🌱 How It Works
It’s simple. When you refer someone to Urban Abundance, and they sign up, you get rewarded:
-
$100 off your next monthly bill when someone you refer installs a new garden or gets a garden uplift.
-
$10/month off your membership for up to a year — as long as your referral becomes a UA member and stays active.
That’s up to $220 per referral, with no limit on how many people you can refer.
You share. They grow. You save. We all eat better.
🥕 The Bigger Picture: A Community That Trades Tomatoes
We’re serious when we say this is just the beginning.
“What if we had a network of growers in every neighborhood — sharing tips, swapping harvests, even trading produce?” says co-founder Farmer Jack Sandquist.
“That’s the future we want to grow.”
Imagine walking down your street and handing your extra winged beans to a neighbor who just harvested too many okra pods. Imagine local trade circles, community harvest meetups, garden tours, maybe even a seed swap and tea party. All powered by your backyards.
This referral program is more than a financial perk — it’s a step toward building a true community of growers.
🌻 Let’s Grow This, Together
Whether you’ve been with us since day one or just planted your first garden bed, you’re part of this growing movement. And now, with the referral program in your hands, you’ve got a way to spread it even further.
The more we grow together, the more impact we make — locally, ecologically, and deliciously.
Let’s grow a future full of fresh food, shared abundance, and thriving soil.
